Peregrine78
Sent right after MSV A1E2: My Brother's Keeper Ayaz's Current Level: 4 (Sor 4) Dear Na’kem, I hope this letter finds you well. I apologize for how long it took for me to write to you, but I’m sure you understand that it was difficult to find somebody willing to deliver a letter to an old burnt down village that nobody ever bothered to rebuild. As you can see since you are reading this, I was able to find somebody to deliver the message. That is all thanks to the guild I’m now a part of actually! I’m sure you’ve heard of the Arcane Rift Crisis, even holed up in that dusty, old cave you like to call home. Well, I’ve joined the guild that is responsible for fighting said Crisis, the Mortal Guardians. Enclosed, you’ll find a patch that bears the guild’s emblem that you can add to your collection. I trust that there haven’t been any attempts to rob the grave site recently? I remember that being such a nuisance when I was still there. What could be so interesting about my family’s graves that keep drawing people there? You won’t believe what I discovered a few days ago! It turns out that one of the members of the guild, Verity Windane, has a very special patron that you know well. It is your old friend, Tithue! I discovered this because, while we were out on a simple fetch quest for a client, Tithue actually showed up and talked to us. I’m considering asking them if they have room for another Warlock under them. Anyways, you have a lovely day and I hope to hear from you soon! Peregrine78
Received shortly after MSV A1E5 (Daring In Defiance) Ayaz’s Current Level: 6 (Sor 5, War 1) Dear Ayaz, I greatly appreciate receiving your letter. I agree, it has been far too long since we have talked like this. While I do love our coffee meets for Dragonchess, it is always lovely to receive a letter. I am going to ignore that cave comment. But yes, I have heard about the Arcane Rift Crisis. You yourself told me about it in person shortly after that tavern you worked at got destroyed by one. I am confident in your guild’s ability to handle this crisis, but despite that, if you need any help with it, just let me know. If I am able to help at the time, I will. The grave robbing attempts dwindled a little bit after you left for Wintervaeld, but they seem to have been increasing in number in the last few months. I hope it eases your mind to know that I am doing my best to figure out why these people keep coming to bother your parent’s graves. Ah yes, Verity Windane. Tithue has talked of her exploits in some of our conversations of late. I think it would do you good to ask them about that request you had if you haven’t done so yet by the time this letter reaches you. Bear in mind though, while Tithue is a powerful ally, they always do what suits them best. Keep an eye out for the unexpected with them, you never know what that unicorn’s going to do next. I do have some unfortunate news for you. I am going to have to cancel our coffee meetings for the foreseeable future. I have become incredibly busy of late, namely with the increase in invaders to the village. I wish you the best and I hope that the items enclosed will be of use to you. I have included a Wand of Magic Missiles and a Wand Sheath originally intended for a Warforged. The sheath has been modified so that you will be able to wear and use it. I hope these items serve you well in your adventures. The wand has also been modified so that you don’t have to worry about it disintegrating if you use all of the charges on it. I trust you will use it well. High Regards, Na’kem’anru Edited October 4 by Peregrine78
