So im going to apologize now, some of these answers may not be as indepth as others.

What drew you to this system - Starfinder?
Originally i wasnt going to play in it, unknown system, unknown lore, (still both lol) But sekrain asked me. and he rolled high on persuasion so i said yes. lol

What race & class are your characters? What made you choose them?
K'sincara is a Shirren Envoy. and i asked sek what the closest thing to a cleric was. he said a mystic. and that we already had one. i said ok how about a bard? so envoy was the answer. as for why i chose a shirren.... i saw them and read about them. thought their lore was interesting and would be fun to play as.

What is one of your character’s strengths and a flaw?

K's greatest strength is bullshitting her way out of most situations. her flaw is making people think K knows exactly what they are doing. in reality. K is just as lost as everyone else.

Question to Sekrain

Dral’Ark is a city inside a large spaceship. Without outside source to replenish resources, how long can it sustain the denizens?

Ex: How long before cigarettes run out?? (Asking for a friend.)

It is more of a small town inside a spaceship, but as far as the crew is concern (both our main characters and all of those working to keep it flying) the ship has various storage areas dedicated to different goods, and each of the "stores" inside the hall area have also their own storage for more luxurious goods (raw meat and vegetables vs alcohol, as an example)

Though not said out loud and directly in game, the engineering and logistics teams assume that the ship could sustain the crew for various weeks even up to two months depending how much is rationed (water, supplies)... If someone asks Vohivel next time, he might express his opinion about this fact 😉

Now, for less essential goods (cigarrettes)... well, that might be not be as easy to obtain in the depths of space neither a priority to be produced among the teams.

Questions about Dral’Ark to Sekrain

8000 feet across equals to about 1.5 miles. You had mentioned that there are elevators. What other methods do the crew on board use to traverse what I imagine is a tight and gridded layout?? Walking glides? Segways? Small carts?

For the crew of 5k+, do most of them have a room of their own or do the lowbies bunk up??

How much of the systems on board are functional? Have the weapons system come back online?

How much of the hierarchy has been restored or set? How many have remembered their past jobs and returned to it? Who’s in charge of the security team which I assume is a priority to stop any looting or hysteria.

QUESTIONS TO ALL

S1 Ep 11 isn’t on YouTube. The characters have remembered few things.

<Es>
He’s in Nul’s room reading. He finds it comforting. Why does he feel more comfortable there than his own room?

What made him search his room? What does the collar signify?

What is he searching for?

<K’sincara>
Did she help people remember something of their past from their notes?? Did they do it as a group or individually?

<Mac>
How did he come to steal something from the Verdant Sun? He got caught, beaten into submission by their Capt. and was made to join them. What did he try to steal and why?

Was he a thief before joining the pirates?

How did he get caught by Dral’Ark and got thrown into the brig?

How did he lose his arm and why did they give him (a prisoner) a new one?

What kind of work he do on parole?

<Nul>
HE’S UNDEAD! Did he know that from the beginning?? How does he feel about that??

Did he hear voices before he died??

What did he remember??

<Sekrain>
How did the characters find out about these bits about their past?

How much of the information did the players know?

Were their reactions delicious??

How much preparation do you do for each episode?

How much of the story have you plotted out so far??

Yep, 8,000 feet is big. And so to move quickly from tip to rear there is are three rail trains lines that go across and lead near elevator shafts to then go up or down the decks. The first rail train line doesnt fully go from bow to stern and begins around the hangar sections which has its own larger more industrial type of transport connections to move cargo, larger construction elements produce from the assembly and move small ships into the maintenance area for more in depth reparis.

A good portion of the ship is dedicated to secured crew quarters. Imagine them like small flats (K's quarters currently are like those), and some slightly bigger for crewmates that have families. In theory all crewmates should have their own private quarters on a normal Dral'Ark business day.

Oof... Most of the systems are functional but are not effectively functioning. Live support would be among the systems closest to 100% restored, followed by the Drift Engine (the Starfinder equivalent of Warp/Lightspeed, it is a whole other topic). The rest of the main systems, from sensors, shields, assembly, etc, are either damage still or due to the damage computers systems missing information (add that system to the to do list) are not working at optimal part.
No one has asked about weapons, so im not answering about weapons... but i guess you can imagine how those are doing 🙂

Hierachy: Mix bag which i will start explaining with crew remembering. People still are capable of doing what they use to do before (as can be seen with our "Heroes"). From there, many, but not all, have figured where they could help around. If the officer or chief in charge is alive, things sort of go smoothly depending on the personality (new or old) from them. As an example: while engineering started to get things done fast it was mainly due to people by their own side fixing small and big things while Chief Kumar was getting his bearings, meanwhile the Science & Arcane division took bit longer to get its bearings as it is not so direct functions and sections yet once Arcane Officer Eluria arrived got everyone in line in a day. She runs a tight ship (no pun intended)

And security at the moment is in charge of Legatus Kreltuan and Centurion Mhegon, the two commanding officers of the Skyfire Legion detachment aboard. The bridge officer in charge of security would be the first officer but he is no longer among the living

They have found bits about them from small objects, activities, sensory stimuli... Our memory as humans is heavily tied to our senses, environment and emotions, so anytime that either feels appropriate or that i plan ahead there is more to them revealed.

The information they know varies from player to player. It is funny cause i dont "play the same game" with each: For Es, i have specific details that Fey provided, Sky gave me a general but specific idea for Mac, Theta and I talk back and forth about K to figure out and Ray just gave me free reigns on their landslide. It is so much fun the behind the scenes talks i have had with them.

YES 😈

Varies from episode to episode, and life. The initial 10-ish episodes i planned a lot to set up the situation, what characters they would encounter and the perils. But there been some that i feels "wrong" pushing the next story step so i take advantage to improvise, bring figure with them who the characters were and who they are now.

I have SO MUCH plotted and SO MUCH missing, and everyday i die a little that im not there yet. What I can say that i have already established in a good way that i feel confident are the three possible endings (TPK not counting 🪦), along with some important stories and npcs, but the connection between them flows and fluctuates.

Es isn't quite sure why there's a comfort there. To Es, it feels like the space allows them to fit. And Es likes physical books, especially the pocket sized paperbacks from, like, grocery stores. Specifically bad scifi and horror, the cheesy and pulpy kind.

He searched his room to find the collar. Who knows what it means?

i would like to think yes. and groups only for those that are supposed to be family units. like... this is your spouse/child then individual visits for those requiring more.

In the confusion of the Undeadening and the Forgettening, he didn't have much time to think about it. His memories from the resurrection are hazy at best, and it's not like it was the weirdest thing going on. On some level he probably figured it out, being a life scientist.

He's conflicted; as far as he knows he's dedicated his life to the study of the natural world, and he is now...something Not Quite Natural.

He has heard at least one voice since his mid 20s, when he damaged one of his antennae.

Sekrain. Sekrain drew me here. (It's the call of the Void)

Nullodeous McPhearson is a Damaya Lashunta, and newly a Borai. He's a Mystic! I don't usually play full magic classes, and the thing I wanted to do with this guy made the most sense as a Mystic.

Strength: Self assurance Flaw: Also self assurance.

Question to Fey/Es & Ray/Null

I recently found out about Es & Null’s previous relationship. Of course ai HAD to rewatch S1Ep1 when they meet each other right after the Forgetting.
Fey had mentioned that she didn’t know that the person who pushed them out of the way & brought back from the dead was Null.

1. What made you decide on a previous relationship? What were you most excited about playing out that storyline?

2. Whose idea was it to introduce Null that way? Did you realize the repercussions to having Es bringing them back to life? Essentially making them an Undead?

3. Watching them discover each other with their forgotten past seeping through is interesting. How have you juggled that relationship development? Do you talk off stream about where it’s going or letting it happen naturally?

4. At the end of S1, how do they feel & think about the other?

5. There are things we do that we’re not aware of doing them. An instinct, an urge, especially between intimate partners. Ex: Straightening someone’s tie, brushing stray hair from face, gentle touch on hand and arm. Have there been any of this between Es & Null? What were the reactions to this?

Questions for Sekrain - re: Verdant Sun

1. How big is the Verdant Sun? Are they well known throughout the verse?

2. The Dral’Ark is a city in a spaceship with 5k+ people. How could they try to take over the ship that size?

3. What are some of their accomplishments? Have the successfully taken over a ship this size?

1.- The Verdant Sun is as big as a ship, and it is known to the people that know it

2.- With tactics and strategies

3.- They have made accomplishments and taken over things

(AKA... I can not answer any of those questions cause it has not been revealed yet, but aren't those questions Very interesting ones? 🙃)

Question to Skye/Mac

S2E1. Mac seems to be picking an argument with Null, arguing/bickering with them. Is it because he noticed that Es & Null have been getting closer??

Whether or not, he has noticed that they’ve gotten closer, null and Mac are kind of opposites of each other and they just haven’t really gotten along but they’re working on it baby
