Lochlainn
Erghan would introduce Saruwatari to some of his friendly druid contacts in the nearby forests. They can offer trade of excess materials from the wilds that they harvest to ensure that none goes to waste! This could include animal skins, foraged berries and nuts, specially crafted wooden tools and weapons, and assistance with travel routes through the wilder areas. Another unusual person he brings along is a somewhat eccentric hunter called Vorkhal whom he met on one of his long walks. The fellow is a wizened goliath of some 60 years or more, worn by years in the open weather and more than several encounters with frenzied beasts. Vorkhal's hair is thin and gray, draping over his shoulders like a well-loved shawl, and he has almost as many scars as he has places to have scars--and though the stories about the scars are consistent, which story applies to which scar seems to change with each telling. And tell stories he does. Incessantly. Vorkhal has never met a stranger, nor, as far as he's concerned, anyone who wasn't interested in hearing the tale of one particular hunt or another. Especially the one wherein he tracked a wyvern for three weeks through frost and snow only to discover it was a hobgoblin wearing wyvern feet for boots. The encounter did not end well for either participant, and Vorkhal was never able to learn why the hobgoblin wore the wyvern's feet in such a manner. Before leaving Vorkhal in Saruwatari's care, Erghan says, "Good hunter. Good eyes. Likes the long walks and patrols in the woods. A guard, maybe? You decide. Take him. Please, take him." With that, Erghan departs--and quickly. He glances back at Saruwatari and nods amiably before pounding his chest and shouting, "Strength!" A pleasant smile forms on Vorkhal's face as he introduces himself to Saruwatari. "Hello, friend. I'd swear we've met before." He shifts his longbow over to the other shoulder and eyes him closely. "I never forget a face or a... um... those, uh, limbs? Pretty sure I've battled creatures like those! Have I told you about the time when I tracked a giant spider for three days? Clever thing was dragging a mammoth carcass to hide the trail from me! You'd never believe where it made its den!" 2
Dawn
Tenayl could be all about bringing in berries and supplies from foraging in the wilderness, maybe even agriculture from studying their botany so much. Afterall, Tenayl is used to depending on the wild to supply their own needs as a ranger, what's to turn this into a job to perhaps earn some coin or meet new allies Alternatively, Tenayl could teach a class on Botany, having the end of it make you become proficient in nature. For a certain amount of gold per lesson. A milestone being able to become half proficient in nature perhaps as well. Despite Tenayl's lacking intelligence, their wisdom is quite high, and so they've taken very well notes explaining how all these different plants and habitats function that even someone with less than average intelligence would be able to understand!

Saruwatari ears open to Vorkhal's stories decides he will offer Vorkhal a job as head of town guard and if he wishes a spot at the inn every other night for his stories of old... almost like the town poet, that way others may hear his great tales! With this offer comes a drink of ale and a new friend and ally.
