Speedrun%?

Recommended Posts

Set time to an hour limit. Our goal is to get through a storyline as quick as possible, forming our first speedrunning group X3
With a party we are to plan out a route on how to reach the end goal of the storyline as quick as possible, no matter the outcome if the NPC's will hate you or not.

For example:

Spoiler

Episode 1, rats in the basement. You look at the tavern, and than cast fireball igniting the whole place. We than follow the sounds of still scurrying rats to the sewers, and engulf the area with a fireball again, or etc.
Most likely wouldn't work, buuuuut hey it's a possibility

Not only is our goal to get through to the storyline as quick as possible. There are many subcatagories, per example smell Artem's perfume%, kill rian%
However, the limit here is 1 hour. At most an hour 15 minutes. Essentially, half the time it would take playing a normal session is the goal of a speedrun, however this time limit may change depending on how some playtests are done.

This may just be through the forums, but if we could do this as an actual event to be streamed on twitch or so, that would likewise be amazing X3
If you have anything else you would like to add, perhaps suggestions that would be nice!

Achievement: "Handle with Care"

Artem's team has constructed a special riftbreaker device (codenamed "golden egg") which, when thrown into a rift, causes the phenomenon to transform into a burst of harmless--and valuable--golden coins. The riftbreaker is short-lived and fragile, however, and must be held with tremendous care and caution at all times--for its magic fades over the course of two hours and even more rapidly when it is not in bright light or held lovingly by the hands of an adventurer. The sooner the riftbreaker is applied to a rift the more coins it creates!

Caution: this riftbreaker cannot be subjected to teleportation magic, else it will burst prematurely and disperse its power with no effect.

Strategy: Cast all the speed buffs onto Tenayl, tenayl self buffs with zephyr strike, someone buffs them with longstrider, than follow ups with haste.
Tenayl has a base movement speed of 35 feet per round. + 30 from zephyr, +10 from longstrider. They are able to dash 2 times per round through haste and action. Haste will double all the speed Tenayl currently has, and as it's cast at the end, thus doubling the 75 feet to 150 feet per action. That sums it up to a total of 300 feet per round without provoking any opportunity attacks, meaning that they are able to travel 3000 feet in a minute. That results in around 55 km/h. A rogue would not be able to self cast zephyr strike onto themself, however they would be able to achieve 3 dash actions in a round. Assuming they are the same race, they achieve a total of 90 feet per action, (45 feet doubled), making them travel at 270 feet per action. A monk at level 5 would only get 10 feet bonus from unarmoured, and still be unable to self cast a zephyr strike. This is all assuming we don't switch our magic items and use temp items.

Lmfao I have none of those buff spells and I think the only other person that might would be Aban, but unlikely.
