Thresh
Current Mission Statement: While the fleet of The Kraken's Argosies is equipped for naval combat, the ships of their fleet currently are intended for trade/commerce, transportation, or peacekeeping initiatives. As the world develops and situations change, this can be altered to the need of best fit. As Mizgos is currently in employ of The Mortal Guardians, the ships of The Kraken's Argosies are on retainer for their missions. Thresh
Siren's Scourge: The current flagship of The Kraken's Argosies, The Siren's Scourge is a Warship class vessel. With a painting motif of blacks and dark stained wood, the ship proudly flies the flag of The Kraken's Argosies in the bay of Waterdeep. The ship is named after a story Mizgos grew up hearing on ships, and a tongue in cheek way of warding of future incidents with ice that have plagued the young now captain in the past. From front to back the figurehead is carved to be that of a mermaid, long haired with a sad look upon her face, she is holding a dagger that has pierced her own chest. It rests upon a forepeak that has its joints and posts cut and filigreed to look like octopus tentacles, which ease up to begin wrapping around the mermaid. The head of the capstan follows the octopus motif with a krakens head in the center, 8 spokes fashioned to look like tentacles sprout out for purposes of raising and lowering the anchor. The sails are a traditional cream canvas. The wheel of the ship is styled to be more weathered than normal, as Mizgos has requested this to obtain a better grip while sailing and preferring a more matte finish. The banisters of the ship are styled to resemble carvings of fish from the Victorian era. Thresh
The Songbird: One of the smaller ships of the Argosies, The Songbird is a Keelboat class ship. A wood stain of green hues adorns this ship. Once Syllin becomes capable of sailing a ship, this will become her personal vessel, acting under the flag of The Kraken's Argosies. The figurehead of this ship is a large, carved songbird with its wings splayed out in flight. The capstan is currently a basic design, with brass rings on its spokes, and the wood stained dark. The sails of this ship are dyed slightly green, to go along with the colors of the hull. The wheel of the ship follows along with the capstan, as Syllin will likely wish to design her own when the ship becomes hers. The banisters have been filigreed to look like creeping vines and leaves. This boat has been updated with a Living Hull Edited April 8 by Thresh
Thresh
The Iron Head This ship is a Hammerhead Class Ship, more utilitarian in design than the others. This ship has been steel plated where it can be, creating a strong and capable blunt force ramming vessel. Meant for quicker missions than the larger ships in the fleet, The Iron Head offers some strong middle ground solutions to those who may not need a full warship, but definitely needs more than a traditional single mast vessel. The Iron Head also offers strong sieging potential, and adds a strong offering in any blockade.
